Jamie Hodari is the CEO and Co-Founder of Industrious, the highest-rated workplace provider in the industry. Under his leadership, Industrious has grown to over 100 locations across more than 50 cities since its founding in 2013, recognized by commercial real estate leaders for its asset-lite model based on landlord partnerships rather than traditional leases. Most recently, Industrious was named one of America’s 500 fastest-growing companies by Inc. Magazine and appeared on Forbes’ annual list of “Best Startup Employers.” Hodari holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, an M.P.P. from Harvard University, and a B.A. from Columbia University.
Justin is the President and Co-Founder of Industrious. Previously Justin served as Director of Acquisitions and Operations at Windham Development and Windham China, where he headed their US Real Estate operations. He was previously a Vice President at Madison Realty Capital, but his career highlight will forever be the time he worked for the writing team at the Late Show with his childhood idol, David Letterman. He is the childhood next-door neighbor of Industrious co-founder Jamie Hodari, allowing them an early start dreaming about the future of office space. Justin can be found living with his wife and daughter in Dumbo, Brooklyn along with their dog, confusingly named Chicken. Justin holds a Graduate Certification in Real Estate Finance and Development from NYU and a B.A. from Indiana University.
Anna is the Chief Commercial Officer at Industrious. Previously, Anna was the co-founder of Run for America, a bipartisan political consulting firm electing the next generation of leaders to Congress, and the founding President of Born Free Africa, a private initiative to end pediatric HIV. Under her leadership, Born Free opened operations in the U.S., Nigeria, and Kenya and contributed to a 60% global decline in children newly infected with HIV. Anna started her career at McKinsey & Company, where she spent 4 years working with business and public sector leaders in healthcare. Anna can often be found cooking for friends and family in her tiny NYC kitchen or practicing her deadlift. She has been recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30, is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, and holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Brown University.
Craig Robinson is the Chief Growth Officer for Industrious, responsible for all sales, marketing and strategic partnerships. Craig has led business units within both large global public companies and private mid-cap growth businesses. He most recently built and led Powered By We, a global division at WeWork that provided real estate development, technology and management services. Previously he was the CEO of Global Corporate Services at Newmark where he led all sales, operations and platform investments. Prior to Newmark, he was President of Colliers International Group Inc., U.S. Region, where he was responsible for $1B+ in annual revenue and 5,600 real estate professionals. Over the course of his career, he also held leadership roles at Cassidy Turley (now C&W), CBRE/ Trammell Crow and AIG Global Real Estate Investments. Craig serves on the corporate boards of Roofstock and Fyllo and is a board advisor to Statebook International, withco, 1Sharpe Capital (venture capital fund) and Pacific Program Management. Craig earned his MBA from Harvard Business School, and his BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Craig lives in Atlanta and is passionate about scuba diving, art collecting and advocating for racial equity and a democracy that works for all.
Greg is the Chief Financial Officer of Industrious. Before joining Industrious, he was the Chief Transformation Officer of First Watch Restaurants (an Advent International portfolio company). Previously, Greg was VP Strategy and VP Business Development at PepsiCo, and he was the President of TCBY and CFO of Mrs Fields Famous Brands. Greg also was a Consultant with Bain & Company. He has an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Liz Simon is the Chief Operating Officer at Industrious. Prior to joining Industrious, Liz spent eight years at General Assembly, a global educational company that specializes in the most in-demand skills, where she most recently served as the company's COO. Previously she served in the Obama Administration as Counselor to the Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, working on policy issues at the nexus of immigration and entrepreneurship. Liz started her career as an attorney at Hogan Lovells, a Washington D.C.-based law firm, and holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Liz lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son and serves on the boards of EdReports and Arena.
Valerie is the Chief of Staff with Industrious. She has a communications consulting background, and could spend all day chatting about diversity in entrepreneurship. With a vegetarian appetite in barbecue country, Valerie spends her time seeking out veggies, hiking, kayaking, and rock climbing. She holds an MPP from Duke University and a BA/BS from UC Berkeley.
Clem Turner is the Head of Legal at Industrious. Prior to Industrious, Clem was a corporate partner at Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi, where he led the Alternative Capital Practice. Clem began his career 25 years ago at Skadden, Arps, where he represented Fortune 500 companies on IPOs, large financings, and public mergers. He left "Big Law" to work with entrepreneurs, whom he has counseled through countless transactions including seed, angel, and venture capital financings; traditional and alternative financings; mergers and acquisitions; business and commercial contracts; as well as day to day business matters. Clem lives with his wife, two boys, and their Australian Shepherd, Nia. He enjoys biking the long trails with his boys (or riding Peleton in the winter) and teaching Sunday School. Clem has a B.A. in Psychology from Princeton University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
Eivind is the Head of New Venture Development at Industrious. Before joining Industrious he was a Senior Consultant at AECOM in the Strategy+ group where he advised on the design and real estate strategies for a number of private institutions, public companies and federal agencies in the US and Canada. Eivind cut his teeth as a designer at Rangr Studio, Robert A.M. Stern Architects, Young Projects and Luckey. He has completed projects in the US, the Dominican Republic, and the United Kingdom. He holds a B.A. from Yale University and he received his M.Arch. from Columbia University. He has taught design studios at Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation and was an Adjunct Associate Researcher at Columbia's Center for Urban Real Estate. When he is not designing the next great Industrious location, he enjoys skiing, racing sailboats, and adventurous conversations. You may also encounter him walking around the industrial outskirts of some European city in search of a can of Irn-Bru.
Evan is the GM of Custom Development and Partnerships at Industrious. Earlier, he served as GM of Enterprise and Head of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining, he was the first employee and VP of Marketing & Business Development at CourseHorse, a leading education startup. Earlier, he worked in Strategy & Analytics for Patch, AOL’s hyperlocal news network, and Co-Founded DealsForDeeds, a social enterprise. Evan started his career in management consulting at The Avascent Group, where he focused on growth and M&A strategy within the aerospace, space and defense industries. Outside of work, you’ll find him volunteering at the tech education nonprofit Code/Interactive, trying to keep up with the group on bike trips, and going on occasional historic walking tours. Evan holds a B.A in International Relations and Urban Studies from The University of Pennsylvania and lives in NYC.
Ariel Maidansky is the General Manager for Industrious’ Suites and Access products, responsible for the strategic direction, vision, growth, and performance of Industrious’ enterprise offerings. Ariel is an experienced entrepreneur and forward-thinking executive with over a decade of experience in developing and launching new products and marketer strategies. He is known for unlocking new revenue opportunities and leading end to end innovation within organizations. Prior to joining Industrious, Ariel served as SVP and Head of Innovation at Foundry55, the innovation arm of The Aaron's Company, Inc., which he joined after Aaron’s acquired his company Envizzo in 2020. Envizzo changed the way real estate is furnished by enabling property managers and developers to design, furnish, and stage their properties. In addition to being GM for Industrious, Ariel is an investor in Doorsey and serves as an advisor for Biome, an award-winning and fast-growing startup that helps people track and improve the health of their indoor spaces.
Gentry Long is the General Manager of North America for Industrious. He previously served in a VP of operations role for Equinox Fitness Clubs, overseeing the groups E by Equinox and Equinox Sports Club brands, in addition to leading the UK Market. While working for Equinox, Gentry was able to play a leading role in the integration and rebranding efforts of both the Sports Club and E by Equinox brands. Until 2019, Gentry was Managing Director of the brand's UK operation and played a pivotal role in the brand's expansion into the UK market. Gentry’s greatest joy, however, comes from helping grow and develop teams. Since the start of his career with the Morgan’s Hotel Group, he has always been extremely passionate about all the work that goes into helping brands be considered “best in class” especially as it pertains to the service and hospitality experience. Gentry lives in NYC and he enjoys great food, travel, and the company of friends and family! He holds a B.S. from Oakwood University and a M.B.A from Rutgers Business School
Rachael is the SVP of Customer Experience at Industrious. Before joining Industrious, Rachael was at Starwood Hotels & Resorts on the Brand Strategy team and then the Sheraton Global Brand Management team. Prior to working on the brand side of the hotel business, she was on the real estate side as a Project Manager for the Design and Construction team at hotel ownership group RLJ Lodging Trust. In her free time, Rachael helps lead Project Spark, a non-profit that supports sustainable relief efforts through education, health care, and micro-loans in Guatemala. Rachael lives in NYC and can often be found on a soccer field trying to appear graceful and not set the record for most number of falls in a season. She holds a B.S. from the Cornell Hotel School and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Beth is the VP of Finance at Industrious. Before joining Industrious, she spent twelve years at Tapestry (Coach Brand) in various finance roles. Prior to her time at Coach, Beth was a Consultant with Booz Allen. Beth has an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and a BS from Vanderbilt University.
Ashley is the Vice President and Controller at Industrious. Prior to joining Industrious, Ashley worked in SEC Reporting and Consolidations at The Madison Square Garden Company and at Home Box Office (HBO). She also spent 5 years in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she spent some time working in their National Office. Ashley has a M.S in Accountancy from the University of Missouri – Columbia and a B.S in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and minors in Mathematics and Spanish from Saint Louis University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Chris is the Senior Director of Performance Marketing at Industrious. Prior to joining Industrious, Chris built and led the US Digital Planning + Optimization team at Hill + Knowlton Strategies with his teams managing cross-channel media activations as well as digital analytics and SEO. Before his time at Hill + Knowlton, Chris led teams at some of the top advertising + media agencies in the world such as Wavemaker, Razorfish and Hearts & Science managing performance campaigns for clients like Microsoft, Barclays Bank, P&G and Amgen Pharmaceuticals. When Chris isn't in the office, you can find him wandering Central Park with his dog Wilson, planning his next scuba diving trip or in the kitchen whipping up a new hot sauce with his homegrown peppers. Chris graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Communications with an emphasis in Rhetorical Theory and Media Studies.
Peri is a Senior Director of Real Estate at Industrious. Prior to joining the Industrious team, he worked for the commercial real estate investment firm Jamestown for seven years. Outside of work, Peri enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, and is an avid Yankees, Falcons, and Atlanta United fan. Peri is also passionate about the foodie scene in Atlanta, as well as all things cars. Peri holds a B.S. in Management from The Georgia Institute of Technology and a J.D. from Georgia State College of Law.
Melissa is the Regional Director of the Southeast-Midwest Region. Before joining Industrious, Melissa worked in the hospitality industry specializing in events. She organized and execute large-scale conventions, intimate wedding ceremonies to national sporting events, and everything in between. Outside of the office Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, hosting far too competitive game nights, and traveling. Raised in the suburbs of Raleigh, Melissa holds a B.S. in Hospitality Management and Business Administration from East Carolina University.
Doug is the Senior Director of Real Estate at Industrious. Prior to joining Industrious, he was an Associate at Holliday Fenoglio Fowler where he worked in the real estate investment advisory practice for NYC. He also previously held positions at Credit Agricole CIB and Antheus Capital. Doug graduated from Cornell University with a BS in Applied Economics & Management. Outside of work, Doug is a hopelessly optimistic Mets, Knicks & Giants fan, an avid watcher of Seinfeld and outdoor enthusiast.
Peter is the Senior Director of Product at Industrious. Most recently, he was at New York Magazine where he lead the product team that developed and licensed the publisher’s CMS. He was also the product lead on The Strategist, the New York Magazine’s e-commerce vertical. Before moving to New York, he was a product manager at Popsugar in San Francisco, building Popsugar’s influencer platform and newsletter products. Peter got his start in product management in the edtech space while living in Shanghai in 2011. He has a degree in Political Science from UC San Diego where he also studied Russian literature. He loves learning languages, good sci-fi, and all things crafty, from brewing to baking to coding.
Tyler is a Senior Director of Real Estate Special Projects with Industrious. He was formerly the Global Head of Real Estate for Convene where he was focused on strategic growth of the portfolio overseeing acquisitions, asset management, underwriting, and development and construction. Tyler was formerly an Associate Director at Invesco Real Estate, Deloitte’s Real Estate Consulting Group, Fortress Investment Group, and Cushman & Wakefield. Tyler is also an Ironman triathlete and loves traveling and being outdoors on the water any chance he can with his wife, two boys, and yellow lab. Tyler holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Stetson University and an MBA from the University of Oxford.
Drew is the Senior Director of Construction at Industrious. Prior to joining Industrious, he was an Associate at Spacesmith—an Architecture, Planning, and Interior Design Firm—where he focused on strategic planning for the firm and led projects in luxury retail, corporate, nonprofit, and workplace strategy. Outside of work, Drew previously served as a board member for the New York City Chapter of Open Architecture Collaborative (formerly know as Architecture For Humanity), a nonprofit organization that provides design services for local, underserved communities. He is an avid runner and is always up for an outdoor adventure. Most often, he can be found exploring the mountains or city by foot. Drew holds a Bachelor of Architecture Professional Degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
Though she majored in accounting at Washington University in St. Louis, Leah discovered her passion for food and hospitality while spending a year behind the bar in Argentina and farming in Italy. After a stint as an auditor with Deloitte, Leah made the transition into hotels and restaurants in NYC, honing her skills as a concierge at Mondrian Soho and event manager at Red Rooster. Leah loves a good trivia night and isn't embarrassed to admit that she DVRs Jeopardy.
Natalie is a Director of Special Projects at Industrious. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Boston, Natalie studied Culinary Anthropology and Vocal Performance at USC. After working for many years in restaurant management, Natalie joined Industrious as an Area Manager for the Los Angeles market before moving back to Boston to be closer to family. In her free time, Natalie loves cooking dinner on Sundays with her family, is an avid baker and aspires to compete on The Great British Baking Show.
Andrew is the Director of Accounting - Special Projects at Industrious. Prior to joining Industrious, Andrew has over a decade of experience managing accounting and compliance projects. Most recently, he was a Senior Manager at EY in the Forensic & Integrity Services Practice, helping clients to enhance processes and maintain or achieve compliance with applicable regulations. Andrew graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and getting away to the beach.
Miriam is a Director of Landlord Partnerships at Industrious. Prior to joining Industrious, Miriam worked on the asset management team at Allianz Real Estate, covering commercial real estate investments across the U.S., with a particular focus on the office sector. Miriam loves taking advantage of living in NYC, spending her spare time exploring new neighborhoods and restaurants and doing yoga. Miriam holds a BA in History from Columbia University and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
Rachel is the Director of Recruiting at Industrious. Prior to joining the team, she worked at Goldman Sachs for almost 10 years. Her previous roles included Head of Asia ex-Japan Campus Recruiting and Co-Head of US Campus Recruiting. Rachel has lived in Hong Kong, India, and London and loved traveling throughout these regions. When she's not looking for the next amazing hire for Industrious, you can find her chasing after her two children, playing Mah Jongg or catching up on reality TV. She has a B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Faith is the Director of Facilities at Industrious. Before joining Industrious, she was the Director of Facilities at Flywheel Sports, an indoor cycling experience, where she launched the company onto a cloud-based work order ticketing system and streamlined their maintenance and repair work orders. She managed the entire ecosystem, from their fast-paced, day to day work orders to larger capital projects including retrofits, renovations, and refreshes for their 40 locations. Prior to Flywheel Sports, Faith oversaw Kate Spade Facilities and Procurement Departments for three internal brands. She oversaw 140 locations during her tenure, and played a key role in opening 60 stores in the US, UK and Canada. She managed the purchasing department, including two distribution centers for all operating supplies for the fleet. She is passionate about hospitality and providing best in class facilities for luxury and commercial locations. During her spare time, you will find her cooking, going on hikes with her family, or hosting BBQs with friends while arguing with her husband about the superiority of NC style to Texas style BBQ.
Jerome is the Director of Real Estate for the Western US at Industrious. Prior to joining the team, Jerome spent 10 years in brokerage at Savills and CBRE where he focused on the representation of technology and media companies. Originally from Brussels, Belgium, Jerome moved to the States when he was young and has lived in Boston, San Diego, and currently lives in Los Angeles.
Marty Long is a Director of Real Estate Strategy and Operations at Industrious. Previously, Marty worked at Deloitte Consulting’s Strategy & Operations practice, where he ran global workshops, coordinated directly with Fortune 500 senior leadership, and led pro-bono consulting engagements in under-served communities locally and abroad. Marty has also served as an Airbnb Superhost for nearly 4 years, hosting over 3,000 guests in his hometown of Atlanta. Marty is an avid reader of The Economist, loves to study foreign languages, and enjoys performing at stand-up comedy and storytelling events. Marty graduated from Boston College with a B.S. in Finance and Spanish, earned an M.A. in International Studies from The Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, and holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School.
Dan is the Director of Analytics at Industrious. He was previously at Getty Images, overseeing an Analytics/BI function. Prior to this, he was the Director of Emerging Platforms and Analytics at Hertz Car Rental. In his spare time, Dan is an avid hiker and photographer; recently, he completed a 2652 mile backpacking journey from Mexico to Canada.
Joyce studied Anthropology at the College of William & Mary and received her M.A. at Central European University in Socio-Cultural Anthropology. Armed with this sociological background, she jumped into the operations team at grocery delivery start-up, Instacart, where she helped manage personal shoppers and local partnerships and drive crazy growth! She loves improving processes and delivering the best quality products to clients which led her to Industrious. Outside of the office, you can find Joyce hanging out with her cat, Mowgli, and planning her next adventure.
Sam is a Director of Real Estate at Industrious. Prior to joining Industrious, Sam worked at Credit Suisse in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Real Estate investment banking groups, with transactional experience including M&A as well as debt and equity issuances. Outside of Industrious, you can find Sam on the basketball court or attempting to speak foreign languages while traveling abroad. Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Sam holds a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University.
Hopi is the Director of Tenant Experience Management at Industrious. He spent the majority of his early career in the food and beverage business including ownership of a private dining and social club. After a pivot to the "heads in beds" world of both independent and flagged hotel properties, he moved to workplace experience at WeWork and CBRE. As a member of the Industrious Tenant Experience Team, he is overjoyed to continue to have a front-row seat in the current revolution of work.
Danielle is the Creative Director of Marketing & Brand. Prior to joining the Industrious team, she spent time working at digital creative agencies in NYC. An Ohio native, she is loyal to her Midwestern roots and enjoys a good sports rivalry. In her free time, she likes to macramé, travel, settle into a good book, and admire the beautiful architecture of NYC. Danielle holds a B.S. in Visual Communications from Ohio University.
